Tonight is the night! Gonna catch Forbidden Kingdom in the cinema and give my review later. Its all about Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie and watching a movie that is fun and enjoyable. *fingers crossed* Here is a cast interview featurette from MovieWeb.

Forbidden Kingdom

Its been a while since I went for an outing with Hannah. So I’m gonna bring the little one for an island trip. Nope, not as in an actual island trip but to watch Nim’s Island tonight. I promised to bring her to the movies for quite some time now, so tonight is the night! If all goes well, I’ll be posting up the review after watching it. Check out the special sneak preview below.

Yes, its true. What am i talking about? Well, I find The Spiderwick Chronicles to be better than 10,000 B.C.! Just got back from watching it with the same peeps that watched 10,000 B.C. with me last week. As you can see from the photo above, I gave it a thumbs up. Heck, I’m even having a good time viewing the movie’s official site while doing this post at the same time. The movie was brilliant! It glued me to the screen from beginning till end with a captivating story, wonderful visual effects and intense action. Expect a video review by next week. Watch it if you haven’t!

Movie Review: 10,000 B.C.

Just got back a few hours ago from watching 10,000 B.C. at Cathay cinema here in KK. Despite the all smiles you see in the photo above of my friends and i who went to watch, the movie turned out to be below expectations. Yes folks, the movie didn’t really deliver the satisfaction we wanted. Sigh… Will explain more in an upcoming video review. Till then, if you’re still planning to watch the movie, please do so without the high expectations that you got after watching the trailer. For me it is a ‘must watch’ movie that became a ‘lets just wait for the dvd’ movie.

note: I think Cathay has gone strict on digicams/handycams being brought into the cinema. Babe got her handbag gone through inspection by the cinema staff and had to give away her digicam, which was returned after the movie. As if the digicam can record the whole movie… Please lah.
