Another chinese war movie. Hope this one is good. The other one as in An Empress And The Warriors was just ok according to some of my friends who watched it. In fact, i heard it was more of a romantic movie than it is about war. Well, I hope Three Kingdoms: Resurrection Of The Dragon proves otherwise. Especially when its based on the infamous war infested Three Kingdoms period in the history of China. - impedius

Just got goosebumps after watching trailer… BUT… what the hell?? i don’t remember reading zilong fighting a woman!! i’m not putting high hopes for this one but i’m gonna watch it anyway.

I saw the movie in Hong Kong Yesterday (12 April 2008). Cantonese with English and Chinese subtitles. It has a romantic element - but it definitely more of the “Action Adventure” / War genre then romance. Yes it has some romantic elements and maybe even a kinda dumb preachy message or two about war. I could say more about the romantic part but I might harm your enjoyment of the ending. Mostly it had some good battle and fighting blood and gore type stuff. It is supposed to be a true story for the most part.
